anyway
the week
i feel like my weeks are always super uneventful. unless i go to a concert or something, like every once in a while, my week consists of going to work, cleaning, and running errands. pretty boring “adult” stuff. i really want to do a few diy projects this week, so let’s see if i have time to do them! they’re sooo cute, i have like three in mind.
this weekend was beautiful! – again. which was awesome. earlier in the week it said it was supposed to rain all weekend but i’m really glad it didn’t. when it rains we obviously can’t take kylo to the dog park or for a walk, and since he’s still a puppy, those days can be rough inside the apartment.
saturday stroll
saturday afternoon we took him on a walk through downtown. he’s had trouble with barking at literally everyone, so we really wanted to take the afternoon to train him. we took a spray bottle full of water and every time he would bark at someone walking by, we would spray him with it. now, i know what you’re thinking – that’s animal abuse!! well, no, it’s not. he has to learn. we weren’t mean about it and we rewarded him when he didn’t bark with lots of pets and treats. it only took him about two times being sprayed with water before he finally caught on.
he did SO well! i was so proud. he would start to bark at someone and we would say “no barking” and he would just stop. eventually he didn’t even try to bark at anyone. so we’ve made progress! it’s so embarrassing when he barks at people, especially kids.
i also LOVE the look of an accordion skirt. i think they’re so cute. i always thought i was way too short for them. i’m only 5’2 and sometimes it’s really hard to find maxi dresses and skirts that fit right. this one is from h&m and is perfect! spring is here, but i’m still not one to love spring colors. so naturally my skirt is black, hahah. i still think it gave off a spring/summer vibe.

he’s obsessed with seeing his reflection and i have no idea why. he loooves mirrors hahah
HAHA, ok i don’t know if we caught him in the middle of a sneeze or what – but he literally looks like he’s dying here. no idea what’s going on. also, these shoes were $10 from target and they now have holes in them because i wear them basically every day.. i think i need new shoes

this tree was like grown into the fence, super cool and weird.
we also finally went and got a unicorn frap and it wasn’t as good as i had hoped it would be. the blue part was sour which was really good, but other than that – it was just ok. pretty sugary also.
that pretty much sums up my weekend! on sunday (today) i took kylo to the dog park twice and he had a blast, as usual. dominic had to work during the day so i took the time to spring clean our entire apartment. does anyone else love cleaning as much as i do? seriously, it’s SO satisfying.
